Hi friends! This post is just for fun to show you our boys' bathroom! I've been meaning to take pictures for a while now and finally have them ready to share. You'll find navy blue throughout the boys' bedrooms and playroom, so of course I wanted to carry that into their bathroom. I gave this room a few nautical accents here and there and thought it turned out really cute!
The first thing you notice is the geometric shower curtain which happens to be called "Hampton Links" (perfect for my nautical theme, right?). One thing to note is that most shower curtains are 72" long. This one is actually 84" long so it goes all the way down to the floor and makes the room look taller.
I used a basket on the toilet to hold the necessities, which doubles as decor.
This is a little planter box that I actually painted red to add some more color to the room. It's holding things like lotion and Q-tips for the boys. I like how the planter and octopus wall decor look old/rustic when mixed with the new, modern finishes.
When we designed our house, I wanted each bathroom to be unique. So even though the cabinets, granite and faucet are the same as our office bathroom, we made this room feel unique by using a mosaic tile backsplash and stainless steel cabinet pulls. These small touches add so much character to our home!
Lastly, our house only came with one towel bar. That's pretty standard; however, it just wasn't big enough to hold all the towels. We ended up adding another towel bar later on and now it looks great but also serves a purpose. I had the hand towels monogrammed to add a personal touch.
I hope you enjoyed the photos! I love that it is nautical without being too nautical. Enjoy your week and I hope to post pictures of my latest bedroom makeover soon!
