Today's install was one of my favorites! I mean, seriously, how gorgeous is this house?! I first met this client when we were at college at Texas A&M. We both moved around after school but we have both made our way back to College Station. I'm so glad we reconnected because it's so fun to experience this season of life together as mothers!
My client was having some trouble filling up the wall of shelves in her living room (as many people do), and I was so excited when she asked me to help style them. By mixing some of her current pieces with a few new accessories, I was able to create a beautiful focal point in the room. Take a look at some of the pictures of this amazing home in Indian Lakes!

We started by taking out some of the adjustable shelves. This gave us room for larger, taller pieces like the baskets and scale.
Then we scattered these beautiful, framed silhouettes of her 3 children. They are so special and make you feel at home!
I added a lot of different textures like the black metal scale, white ceramic vases, wood frames, etc. and I just love how everything came together!
Lastly, I added a few farmhouse elements like the tobacco basket, cotton stems and magnolia plants which look great next to the shiplap fireplace.
Here's a quick shot of the shelves before...
I hope you enjoyed this transformation! I still plan to post a few helpful tips to style your own shelves! Stay tuned...
