We've lived in our house for two years now, and I'm so excited that our home office is finally coming together! It's the first room you see when you walk into our home, and it's usually a place for friends to drop their handbags (or change a diaper). Since Bryan and I both use the office for business, it was important to have a nice balance between function and style.
We ditched the ceiling fan and added this fun light fixture to add some texture to the room. And because our desk is a bit bulky, I decided to go with 2 etagere bookshelves to balance out the space.
I pretty much love all nailhead furniture. Add a toss pillow on top and I am in heaven!
I am always looking for a good deal on home decor, so I found the wood quatrefoil decor on clearance at Target and waited for the baskets to go on sale.
I hate when junk mail collects on the entry table so I hung this basket from Target to help us stay organized.
If you have a box of unused books, try removing the covers and turning the bindings toward the wall. It's a great way to add style to your shelves!
I really wanted a second chair in the office because I've found that Bryan and I use this room. A lot. It's so nice for both of us to have a place to sit and talk.
Another great clearance find were these curtains from Pottery Barn. I love the pattern but I love the price even more!
Although I've been dreaming of a fiddle-leaf fig tree, I found this great bird of paradise plant at our local Lowe's.
And there it is! I hope you enjoyed our home office tour!
