Today's post is short and sweet! I'm featuring a beautiful powder room that was completely gutted due to flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. It may be a small room, but we were able to pack in a lot of charm!
My client really loved hexagon tile, so we picked this gray hex tile with white grout. I love all the shades of gray in the tile!
And we opted for a budget-friendly pedestal sink that looks elegant and clean.
I love to create accent walls in small spaces, like this wall of shiplap we added behind the sink. It's easy to change out as the trends change.
Lastly, we picked out chrome fixtures and this gorgeous faucet. The details in this room make all the difference!
I hope you enjoyed this powder room reveal by AMI! Keep checking back for more transformations!
It's the first official day of summer and we have been spending our days at the pool! Which means I've been washing beach towels non-stop! Your laundry room is one of the most used rooms in a house, so why not make it beautiful? Today I'm featuring a laundry room that I designed for a house that was unfortunately flooded during Hurricane Harvey. This room is off the back door, so there's a mud area too for all your bags, coats and shoes to be dropped. I love how this little space has so much character and feels so fresh and clean!
The quartz countertop is so nice because you have a clean space to fold your clothes. And we went with a marble style subway tile for the backsplash, installed all the way up to the ceiling. It really makes the room feel bigger!
The subtle colors in the backsplash are so beautiful!
The floor is a solid, matte hexagon tile with white grout that has been sealed. The grout color makes such a difference and really makes the pattern pop!
We added some shiplap in the mudroom to separate the space. The shiplap is such a nice compliment to the backsplash and the floors! I just love how everything blends together so beautifully!
You can see how the darker floors add some contrast to the shiplap and wall color (SW Repose Gray).
That's it for this room! Would you want to do laundry in here?
Next I'll be revealing the kitchen and you won't want to miss!
